Live from Mount Olympus
Live From Mount Olympus is a multi-award-winning podcast series retelling Greek myths through accessible 21st century language for young audiences. It features a diverse cast of actors ranging from accomplished veterans such as André de Shields to the next generation of Black and Brown rising stars.
Since 2021, the TEAM has co-produced this podcast in partnership with the Onassis Foundation and PRX, and the series was created by Peabody Award-winning producer Julie Burstein. Named one of the Best Podcasts for Kids by the LA Times, LFMO has reached over 2 million total downloads nationally. Our sixth season was recently named a finalist for the 2025 Signal Awards, honoring the best projects in podcast and audio. Vote for us here!

The series will return for its seventh season, written by Nathan Yungerberg, co-directed by Rachel Chavkin, Josiah Davis, and Joan Sergay, and featuring confrontations with terrifying monsters and epic musical battles!
Live From Mount Olympus has featured the talents of André De Shields, Vinie Burrows, Jill Frutkin, Divine Garland, Amber Gray, Modesto “Flako” Jimenez, Libby King, Ian Lassiter, Zhailon Levingston, Christina Liberus, Nehemiah Luckett, Jake Margolin, James Harrison Monaco, Kristen Sieh, Jillian Walker, Nedra Marie Taylor, Kimberly Marable, Ahmad Simmons, Eric Berryman, Joanne Hernandez, Xavier Pacheco, and more. The TEAM casts the show in collaboration with Epic Theatre Ensemble.
LFMO has reached teens across the country at home and in classrooms. Since Live From Mount Olympus premiered on Tuesday, February 9, 2021, it has won the 2022 Bullhorn Award for best kids’ podcast, received a Webby Award nomination, and has been educationally licensed with inquirED, an organization committed to introducing inquiry-based learning to classrooms, making LFMO accessible in 1,600 schools across the US.
